I have lodged my tax with Allan for many years, and I always had a great experience. In the last couple of years I needed a few consultations and the amount of time it took for them to return my emails should've been a red flag already. This year I called in October if I recall correctly and Allan, now the only one attending from what I understand, doesn't have availability until January. Ok, I book that and the week before I contact them via email to check what I'd need to provide as we will be meeting via video conference. All sent a week prior to the appointment, with no acknowledgement. I send another email to confirm everything is in order, which is then confirmed. On the day of the meeting I'm ready to go and Allan is running a bit late. That happened before, when face to face, but never longer than 10-15min. 35min on and my next appointment is fast approaching so I called the reception and asked if it's really going to be just another 5min as I have another appointment. The tone changed immediately and the solution presented was "to take my business elsewhere". Apparently the call dropped and within the 5sec that took me to call back Allan came out and said he wasn't going to do my taxes anymore. I find hard to believe it, and I am very disappointed as I thought highly of him personally and professionally. I'm still in shock of the customer service provided. I hope he isn't being blindsided by the rude and receptionist
